My Experience
Madeline is a clinical psychologist who has a strong interest and years of experience in sexual health and gender affirming therapy.
Maddy has experience working in public and private health industries. She has worked in public health settings and hospitals for 10 years and has developed a special interest in helping clients come to terms with and adjust to a range of diagnoses or major changes in their lives brought on by traumatic injury or changes to their health.
Maddy moved from Tasmania to Adelaide in 2019 after years of working in sexual health and rehabilitation services. During her time in Adelaide she has consulted in a range of medical inpatient wards (including ICU, Burns, Vascular, Renal, Spinal, Cardiology, Oncology & Hematology, Stroke, Neurology, Respiratory, Orthopedics, Plastics and Trauma). She has since taken on leadership roles in local gender clinics and pelvic mesh support services. She is currently the Senior Clinical Psychologist at the Modbury Hospital Gender Clinic and the Royal Adelaide Hospital Pelvic Mesh Clinic.
Maddy is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy and Gottman Couples Therapy and utilises these therapy approaches to treat a range of mental health presentations in adults and couples.

Readiness for surgery support letters or reports for gender diverse clients seeking support with accessing medical affirmation
Chronic illness adjustment and management
Acute medical/health distress
Treating sexual dysfunctions (offering individual and couples sessions)

Supporting women impacted by pelvic mesh implants
